I decided to name the album Lamie Ldn as it is Lamie Ldn's first album and in order to get her name as big and known as possible, I think naming her album with her name, combined with all the pictures of her on the CD will increase her brand name and image.
I decided to base all the song names on heart break as when I was researching I noticed that most soul artists sing about being heart broken. So I wanted Lamie Ldn's album to fit in with her genre and audience.

51. where my ideas have come from
I really liked the simplicity of the Adele websites first page. It was very straight to the point with information on how to get the album and what different platforms it was available on. Also it had direct links to tickets for her tour.
Like Adeles I also liked Sam Smiths website because as soon as you got to the website you were able to identify who's website it was and how to purchase their album.
Editing of CD cover - Wednesday 6th January
Today I stared to work in Photoshop to make my back and front cover of my album. As previously planned I stuck to a black and white filter however my other ideas came to quite a change. I decided on having pictures of LamieLdn on the back rather than a picture of the wine glass, I copied the same image and rotated it so it looks like a reflection.
For the front, I am no longer having an extreme close up, as I did not really like any of the close up shots and this mid-shot worked out better. The back ground of the front is the paint tool pixilated out in black.
As for the rest of the cover I still have a lot of editing to do. Tomorrow I aim to completely finish the front and back cover so I am able to move onto the inside of the case.

Progress with ancillary product, (website)
Today I started to edit the Home page of my website.I wanted the home page to have the same image as my digipak. Also likewise my digipak is black and white so i would like my website theme to be aswell. I still need to edit the font on the front page and edit the links before i can move onto the next page.

Reflection on blogging health check 3
I am really pleased with my Blogging health check 3, where I got a mark of 18 and a grade of A*. In order to improve my mark and maintain my grade my teacher set me some targets.
'Ensure you complete analysis posts 48 and 49 to a good standard'
- I went back over my posts 48 and 49 and bettered them to the best of my ability.
'Ensure your final posts feature your artist heavily - so there is no doubt about her star image.'
- I will make sure to keep referring to my artist and feature her throughout the rest of my blogs.
